I can't believe that so many of the items I bid on have been canceled by SLC. I don't understand how SLC can offer products & then cannot fulfill the orders. Just today I saw an item up for bid (7513100-Red zircon & diamond ring), which I had ordered just previously & was canceled, so I called Customer Service to inquire regarding said item. I was told my order was canceled. I told rep the exact item was up for bid today at 5:22 p.m. & then again in 1 day, 2 hours..., so asked if I could just be sent the item now. Rep informed me that upon checking item is "out of stock!!!!!" How can items be put up for bid & be out of stock? Not only is this a disappointment for the persons bidding on the item who don't win the auction, but it is an even bigger disappointment for the person who bid on the item & won. If an item is out of stock, it should not be listed on the bidding site at all. Also, as a suggestion...When items are charged to a credit card, the order # appears on the invoice--which is great. However, when items are canceled/not fulfilled & credited back to the credit card, neither the order # nor the item # appear on the invoice, which is very confusing as there is no way to tell what item has been refunded without calling in to find out what item the credit is actually representing. It would be great if either the item # or the order # would be reflected in the credit on the invoice. I am especially at a disadvantage, as I have not received any email of verifications, confirmations, cancellations, etc., since the middle of February (with the exception of 1 time & then it stopped again), even though I have contacted Customer Service at least 10 times regarding this issue. Each time I have been assured that the problem was fixed but, with the exception of that 1 time, the issue is still outstanding. Even though I print out receipts of items I order to keep track of them, if something is canceled on SLCs end there is no way I know about it.
